Food, Bar and Ice Cream Concessions

The following catering concessions are available at England's Medieval Festival:

Ice Cream:

This single concession comprises three points of sale at locations allocated throughout the Festival site.

Food Concessions within one of two food court areas:

This is suited toward individual self contained mobile units. Where possible duplication of foods in each food court is avoided in order to offer the customer maximum choice and each concessionaire maximum sales opportunity. The positioning of the units is at the discretion of the organizers.

Food Concession within the Buxom Wench Tavern:

Sited in the prime location, in front of Herstmonceux Castle, is the Buxom Wench Tavern. A 40 x 100 foot traditional white centre pole marquee of which 50 running feet (along the rear wall) is allocated to the food sales and the remainder to the bar sales. This point of sale has tremendous opportunity for hot and cold food sales to the visiting public during Festival open hours with exclusive rights to cater for the re-enactors who use the facilities after hours on the four nights of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Bar Concession within the Buxom Wench Tavern and the Jester's Inn:

Sited in front of Herstmonceux Castle and on the edge of the Jousting Arena are the Buxom Wench Tavern and the Jester's Inn. Both within 40 x 100 foot traditional white centre pole marquees. Half of the space within each marquee (or 50 running feet along the back wall) is allocated to the bar sales. These points of sale have tremendous opportunity to sell beverages, both alcoholic and non alcoholic, to the visiting public during Festival open hours and to the re-enactors who use the Buxom Wench Tavern facilities after the Festival closes to the public during the four nights of the Bank Holiday weekend.
