Ticket Sellers

Outgoing, funloving and approachable individuals are required to work as part of a team during the Festival weekend to greet and sell entry tickets to the public. Previous experience in any retail-related situation is an asset but not a necessity as training is given prior to the event. All members of staff will be dressed in the Knights of Herstmonceux distinctive blue and gold costuming so as to be identifiable to the public as staff.

Job Description:

Ticket Sellers must be prepared to work from 9.00am each day until 6:30pm.

Positioned in and around the Ticket Marquee at the main entrance, Ticket Sellers are resposible for greeting the public, guiding the individuals to the most convenient point of sales - be it the cash, credit card or fasttrack (tickets purchased in advance) desks as well as handling ticket sales and coupon collection. Working within a team of approximately fifteen sellers and three managers, breaks will be given throughout the day where possible and determined by the flow of incoming visitors.

Rate of Pay:

£50 per day
