Living History Traders and Demonstrators

Welcome Traders!

There are four categories of Traders at England's Medieval Festival. Please choose your category from the list below.

Retail and Craft Traders

These Traders sell either hand crafted products (modern/non-medieval) or modern mass produced products, and would typically sell at events which may or may not be themed. The point of sale may either be inside a Festival marquee or the trader's own display covering (i.e. tent or canopy)

Medieval Traders

Medieval Traders trade only at medieval events. The point of sale is an authentic style medieval tent. These traders dress in authentic style costume of the period and sell period type products. The trading pitch is considered an attraction as much as a point of sale.

Living History Traders and Demonstrators

These Traders are in authentic dress, and sell or demonstrate from an authentic period tent or structure, selling or demonstrating the hand crafting of authentic period products only.

Kid's Kingdom Traders

The Kid's Kingdom traders sell toys or games (modern/non-medieval) either modern mass produced products or hand-made. Or they operate medeival or relevant games services (i.e. face painting). The point of sale may either be inside a Festival marquee or the trader's own display covering (i.e. tent or canopy)
